Local Racers Do Great At The IHRA Division 2 Season Opener Pro Am

Presented By Summit Racing Equipment At Immokalee Regional Raceway

 

       10 classes of racing took place this weekend to kick of the season long Division 2 Pro Am presented by Summit Racing Equipment featuring and on Saturday a repeat winner from last year’s race and 2011 Division 2 Hot Rod champ, Steve Dweck hailing from Hollywood, Fl., Naples Fl. resident Jason McCandless in Super Rod, 2011 Division 2 Top Sportsman champ Rick McDonough from Southwest Ranches Fl. taking the victory over Port Charlotte resident Wayne King, Naples Fl. resident Brian Boose with a runner up in Quick Rod and the Carpenter brothers, Steven and Troy, from North Fort Myers Fl., winning in their respective Jr. Dragster class.
